ABOUT CARISA

 

 

CARISA ROSE WILSON has studied and performed various dance techniques across the United States since the age of three. She attended Appalachian State University, where she received her BFA in Dance, and was the captain and choreographer for the dance team.

​

Following graduation, Carisa relocated to Dallas, Texas where she became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, and appeared on CMT’s hit show, “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.” Carisa was selected for her dance ability to be a part of the DCC Show Group, which travels to perform in various countries. During her time as a cheerleader, she performed with Selena Gomez, Kenny Chesney, and One Republic. Additionally, she received an award for the choreography and performance of her solo at auditions.

Carisa now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she teaches and choreographs for studios and dance teams on the East Coast. Throughout the years, she has joined the faculties of several convention and adjudication companies, as well as the faculty of the Commercial Dance Intensive.
